Waffle Platter

When the kids want waffles, I oblige. And I take the opportunity to make yet another platter. Sweet little waffle hearts topped with satsumas, redcurrant and blackberries. A lovely lunch, much appreciated by the young ones!

Waffle recipe from @vegomagasinet, makes 8 waffles.
150 g melted vegan butter
4 dl plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
2,5 dl oat milk
2 dl cold water

Melt the butter and let it cool. Combine the dry ingredients. Whisk together with milk, water and melted butter to a smooth batter.
Cook the waffles in a waffle iron until crisp and golden. Let cool on a rack – don’t pile them up or they will go soft and soggy!
